Hopscotch Album Series - Part 1 - Covering Chipboard

posted on: 1.25.2011

Hey Bloggers,

Today i really felt like making a video and just didn't know what to do at all; so i looked in my paper pad drawer and searched through the "Basic Grey section" and found this new realease paper collection called Hopscotch. I purchased this a couple weeks ago the day it was released and i love it so much. The colors are absolutely FAB if i must say so myself! Hehe, anyways i also used a Colorbok $1 chipboard album from Michaels in a Scalloped Circle that perfectly fits this paper. I will be doing 5-6 videos on how to do the covering (this video) , the inside pages and everything else. I hope you can get this paper line and your favorite chipboard book and follow along. Thanks so so much for watching and i hope you enjoy this series.

How about for todays giveaway i give away a 6x6 Hopscotch stack. Please check you email for the Mothers Day Bouquet post. I emailed one person this morning!!

Please just write a comment below letting me know what videos you want to see in the future to be entered in the giveaway!!!

  5. Hey Drew! I love your mini albums! I would love to see how to make embellishments. Like if you were out of Prima Flowers (heaven forbid) what you would do to make flowers. Just things you could make to enhance your albums without having to go to Michaels. Thanks!

  9. Drew fabulous start to a great mini! I think it would be great to see you try to create a project geared more towards your age-group. For example what would you create for one of your friends.

  10. Thanks so much for all of the inspiration! I love seeing the minis go together. Maybe other shapes? I'd love to see more altering as well.

  11. Hi Drew, love your minis but I'll like to see you transfer your shabby chic style onto layouts or altered arts. How about an altered art or layout tutorial video with a kit to go along?

Like perhaps u can show a finished product, then sell a kit or give us the list of products to purchase. And two to three weeks down the road when we all receive our kits you show the tutorial video or do a ustream?
