Hello Peeps!
So I'm jumping right into the holiday season as i am halloweened out! So i thought i would use one of Donna's old paper lines called "Weathered Winter" which is super pretty! This paper line features shades of green, white and red so its super traditional yet distressed! I think i may make a few holiday cards using this GORGE paper!!
So i made a layout with this paper collection and numerous other Donna Salazar Projects! Lets get started!
It's already rolling into winter here and almost every day has been gloomy and not great for photos!
Alrighty, So the background paper is from the Weathered Winter collection, It has a super pretty damask pattern at the top and bottom. I added a layer of shabby distressed paper to the top of the layout using my most favorite paper from the Weathered Winter collection with amazing music notes! I ripped, distressed and inked with my Distrezz-it-all and my Cats Eye ink Pads! I also took a bit of weathered wood smooch spritz and sprayed it on an acrylic block with a bit of water to distress the paper layer even further.
All the pretty paper flowers are colored with Cats eye ink pads and water! I added a few paper doilies and other fun embellishments someway enhanced with Donna's beautiful Smooch Spritz or Fairy Dust Glitter! I took some Smooch Spritz in Wood Stain and splattered it on the background for a messy look and even sprayed some Green Olive and Sea Breeze Smooch spritz directly onto the paper.
A bit of washi tape and lace finish off this layout! I journaled by hand with both a black pen and smooch ink in molasses! The smooch inks have a fine tip which is perfect for some fun writing styles!
Here are some close up pics -
I hope you enjoyed my Christmas layout and i highly suggest keeping an eye out for the "Weathered Winter" Papers from Donna Salazar!
