"Field Trip" Layout

posted on: 8.13.2012

Hey there! Long time no scrapbook blogging! I'm very excited to share this layout with you though! I created this last night at like 3:30 In the morning because I couldn't sleep. I decided I wanted to make this layout very geometric and funky. I totally love the turn out. I used a diagonal stripe background paper from Studio Calico. I think this striped paper is my new favorite because white and grey is one of my favorite color combos. Sorry about the blurry main photo. I had a setting on my lens wrong (I shoot the full layout with a different lens than the close ups) Of course I have a few close ups to show some detail. I feel that main photo makes everything look crooked, Is that just me? (update :: That polka dot fab-rip is ripped at a diagonal!)

EHHHH. I don't like these photos! I'm bad at taking these layout photos! O well, I will learn someday. What do you think of this one. I actually totally love it because of the rainbow colors and that background paper.
xoxo drew

  3. Wow, this is super gorgeous, I love those colors! And hey, if you love the grey and white, that background paper looks just like some Washi tape I just bought at A.C. Moore. Brand was Darice, just $1.99... go check it out if you have one in your area. :)

  7. I think (I know) I would like to have that banner thing fly over my face in my bedroom. Then I could blow at it like this "spoooooosh" when I'm trying to sleep.
