I finally moved and I am literally amazed at our apartment. I have never seen an apartment as pretty and industrial as ours. I am sharing it with 3 other good friends and my roommate and I have such a lovely room so far. I also hope to post a video soon (I have pictures on my Instagram @drewmscott). Good News, the Internet is a trillion times better than my old place which means..... VIDEOS! I will have videos for you very soon. These last few weeks at school are going to be crazy due to finals and such.

The photos of this look were taken off the balcony of the apartment. We live on the top floor and the view at night is incredible. I really love this look as well. I wore it to school today and I actually got a few compliments on the shirt. It has a really neat mesh panel on the upper third of the shirt. I hope you are all having a wonderful week so far.

Another outfit post for you. I hope you enjoy these. They are unlike my normal posts but they are definitely my favorite to do. I just finished up my designer notebook for my "20th Century Designers" class and printed out my final source review for english comp. It totaled 7 pages. Today was a very hectic day in attempts to get those two main projects done and I am glad to say they are checked off the list.

Tomorrow will be a big day. (2) three hour classes and then some color and design homework to get done as well. I just ordered a new camera lens so I can take my camera with me everywhere. I am excited to blog this journey. xoxo

Sunday was a lazy day for me. I had quite a bit of homework to get done and so i decided a big fluffy knit cardigan was the perfect piece to wear. I have a designer notebook for one of my history classes to get done for Tuesday. As a break I shot this look and got Starbucks. I paired the cardigan with one of my favorite shirts from H&M. My backpack from H&M was brought along to carry my laptop to Starbucks. I am currently sipping a white chocolate mocha and enjoying the coffee shop atmosphere. How was your Sunday?

School has been crazy busy lately. I have had a few projects for my color & design class plus a rather large project in my marketing & brand development class. However, I do love the projects and I have already learnt so much. I feel as if I know everything about product development after these first few weeks but I know much more info is headed my way.

I plan to blog my life more than I am now. I am going to take my camera everywhere with me because I want these moments in my life to be captured and documented within my blog. My outfits express who I am as a person and so I share them with my you. Hopefully you enjoy them as well. If you are a female, take inspiration from the color palette, textures and accessorizing. You never know what a little bit of inspiration could lead to.

P.S. The title of this outfit/post comes from a song called "Summertime Sadness" by Lana Del Rey (listen).

So happy to finally have Internet that somewhat works (It's called Starbucks). So dressing for fashion school has been very intimidating lately. Everybody is dressed so nicely. I really love seeing everybody's combo's they put together. I guess a perk to going to fashion school is you can wear whatever you want and the people around you are very inspiring. I really want to start playing with prints. I plan on adding a few new crazy printed items to my wardrobe very soon. Hopefully I can hit up a few vintage shops on Melrose down here in LA. Anyway, School is going great. Today was my first day of Midterms and one of my tests was rather challenging. Oh well, life goes on. I really want to do a craft post for you all, I promise to very soon.

My First Internship

posted on: 8.10.2013

I am so lucky to have already gotten my first internship with seamless showroom. My good freind Carly has a friend who also works in this showroom which is how my name was mentioned for this position. Carly contacted me and said they were looking for a FIDM student to intern and so I happily grabbed my laptop and sent an email to the showroom. I went in for an interview and actually got accepted for the position that day. I start next Thursday and I am so grateful to have gotten this opportunity.

School has been going great so far. I have managed to get perfect scores on almost every test & project I have taken so far besides a marketing quiz I got an eight out of ten on. The work is very time consuming but It's something that I love so I don't find it very challenging or boring.

Lastly, I went back to my home town on Wednesday night and managed to bring a majority of my scrapbooking supplies back to my apartment. I hope to have something up for you all within the next couple of days. I feel like I am finally settled and able to produce content which I am extremely happy about. I have had a few crafting withdrawals lately. Anyway, I love you all and I will be back soon, I promise!

Tank : Dimepiece  //  Pants : Levis  //  Shoes : Vans  //  Hat : Dimepiece  //  Bag : H&M

My friend Carly and I decided to collaborate on a look for both of our blogs. The tank and hat were originally hers but as I was shooting her look we thought it would be fun to carry it over to a mens look. I know the saying doesn't really "work" but I love this look and the typographic street feel it portrays. The hat is seriously stunning with its holographic bright blue effect. Lastly, H&M produced this bag about 2 years ago and it is still going strong and holding on. Since I have gotten to FIDM I have had the urge to post more about fashion and I hope you all don't mind that. I have a few more looks scheduled for upcoming posts.

Long time no blog! I have so much to update you on since my move a couple weeks ago. As many of you knew, I spilt shampoo on my computer and so I have been without a computer for a while. I just realized my iPad was capable of posting. I will be doing a room tour video and so on once I get my computer back. It should be back within the next few days. Gosh, I have so much to share with you all. I am also going to attempt to share my roommates and friends and just chat with you about the college experience so far.

Anyway, one of my roommates is majoring in digital media. He has an amazing camera and was generous enough to take a few photos of me for the blog ( I will have another post of the full shoot ). I love the way this look came out. The mix of camo and plaid is actually a pretty unique but cohesive look. I really love how the tee and pants were a natural color because it let the jacket and scarf really pop. Lastly my brown cordone shoes were added to tie back with the brown In the camo. What are your thoughts on this look?

What I Wore :: Feel the Love

Shirt : Pacsun  //  Shorts : Urban Outfitters  //  Shoes : Vans OTW  //  Belt : Abercrombie  //  Hat : Fabrixquare  //  Bracelet : Urban Outfitters

I absolutely love this shirt. The California Republic theme has been really popular in street fashion these days. I really didn't want to get the usual logo printed tee so instead I found this awesome tee at Pacsun for $3. It has in image of two girls sitting and looking into the sunset. They are wrapped in a California Republic flag. I also really love that there is a faint tribal print over the whole design. The shirt was originally $19.99 and was half off. It then rang up for $3. I paired it with some white tribal shorts I got from Urban Outfitters a few years ago. Lastly, I felt this look needed a statement which is why I threw in this hat. It is completely covered in spikes which adds a nice edge with this somewhat casual look.

Jacket : Forever 21 // Shirt : Forever 21 // Belt : Abercrombie // Pants : Levis 511 // Shoes : Toms // Backpack : River Island

Finally I get around to posting another outfit post. The sad part is I only have the photos above. I wore this to a friends yesterday and realized about 10 minutes before I had to leave that it would be a perfect outfit post. We only took a few photos because the shady areas were very sparse and the sun was extremely bright. Anywho, I really love this jacket. I picked it up recently at my local Forever 21. It has a denim body with faux leather sleeves. I think my favorite part is the cuffs on the sleeves. They have a really unique "jean" button and they cinch perfectly at my forearm as show in the photo.

I also wanted to play with juxtaposition which is why I incorporated the soft cream braided belt from Abercrombie. I felt the braided belt and the leather was a nice pairing. I finished the look off with a new  pair of toms and my River Island Backpack. My backpack included all my essentials for spending the night at a friends and I thought it went perfectly with this look to add a bit of pattern.

Finally a fashion post. I know most of my followers are not interested in these male fashion posts but I seriously love them. I'm going into the field of fashion design so why not share my style on my blog. I really loved this look. That jacket is one of my all time favorite jackets and the pantone green chinos really just pop.

Sunday Morning Sketches

posted on: 4.21.2013

Today has been treating me well. I woke up early this morning which is not something normal for me. I personally love waking up early but also hate it. I enjoy that I have so much extra daylight in the early morning but I also dislike the lack of sleep. This morning was a good one although, I felt like I had enough sleep and wanted to work on a few fashion sketches. I am actually applying for a scholarship for the college I am attending (FIDM). I can possibly receive a one year full ride if I win. I don't think I will but I can only hope. Wish me luck everyone and I will gladly share the sketches with you all after I submit them. You never know what other potential FIDM students are lurking my blog (lol).

So I added some blonde streaks to my "Bob's Big Boy Flip". What do ya think about it?! Don't you just love that shirt! I picked it up at H&M a while back when I was in Las Vegas. I really love graphic tee's that have somewhat of a vintage logo or print on them. This shirt really stood out to me + it was only $9. I pairs it with a scarf which I have never worn but thought I would take a risk and a pair or bluish colored skinny jeans (these are the skinniest I have!). Lastly I wore my favorite blue vans which have been with me for about 5 years now. I think they have stretched to my foot because there about 3 sizes to small. Summer is really starting to kick in here and I can't wait to start blogging about it!

NEW! Im now on twitter @Scrappy_Happy! Please come over and follow me!

There, I'm back with another fashion post! I hope you enjoy these posts {do you?}. At-least I enjoy making them but only when its overcasty! Today was SO sunny that I just had to take the photos and sunny photos normally don't turn out very nice unless you have a lovely camera unlike me :p I think my photos make the point of the look I was going for. What do you think? I really love these new shorts I picked up at Urban Outfitters. They were super expensive but i really loved them. O! and that ring, It's kinda gangsterish but that's OK, right?
