Hello,
So i wanted to share with you on my blog this series and i will be giving directions on here as well! I'm so excited to get started with this series! This first episode is on covering the Policy Album with the GORGE papers! Lets get started!!
Here is the video on the album which is for visual learners hehe! I suggest watching the video as i show you what parts of the paper you need to cut and what parts need to be salvaged!
I also wanted to give you directions on how to cover the album in writing as its probably easier than my tutorial LOL!
OK, What you are going to want to do is get your policy album and your paper!
Step 1- Open the rings on the album by hand and remove one of the inside pages (DON'T REMOVE THE BACK PAGE WITH THE LONG FLAP!)
Step 2 - All the pages of the album will be inked with either black paint or black ink. Use an X-acto knife to trim overhanging paper!
Cover as directed -
Front Cover - Emerald City Paper side A cut to 4 1/8 by 9 inches
Back of front cover - Munchkins paper on the page cut to 8 3/4 by 4 1/8 inches! The envelope flap is covered with the leftover of the Tenderhearted Tinman paper used in an upcoming page!
Page 2 front - Cover this page with Wicked Witch Side B paper cut to 4 1/8 by 8 3/4 inches
Page 2 back - Cover this page with the Ruby Slippers paper at 4 1/8 by 8 3/4 inches and cover the flap with the Poppy Fields paper side B
Page 3 Front - This page is covered with the Tenderhearted Tinman Paper side A cut to 4 1/8 by 8 3/4
Page 3 Back - Cover the base of the page with the Goblin Gazette paper side A at 4 1/8 by 8 3/4 inches and cover the flap with the Parcel Post side B paper!
Page 4 front - This page is covered with the Poppy Fields paper side A cut to 8 3/4 by 4 1/8 inches
Page 4 back - The base of this page is covered with the Parcel Post side B paper cut to 4 1/8 by 8 3/4 inches! The flap is covered with the Goblin Gazette side B paper.
Page 5 front - This page is covered with the Ghost Paper at 8 3/4 by 4 1/8 inches and the large inside back cover flap is covered with the backside of the Munchkins paper with all the words!
Page 5 back - The back page is cut to one long strip of 4 1/8 by 12 from the Scatterbrained Scarecrow side B paper!
