would you care if...

Hi again! I have been wanting to ask this for a while but I have kept myself from doing so but my mom has encouraged me to ask! As many of you know, I am going to fashion design school in less than a year! I will be off on my own in L.A. in a tiny room with a roommate and I really don't know how I'm going to get all this scrapbook stuff down with me! I 100% have to keep blogging though because I love it. Would you mind if I started to incorporate some other categories of posts into my blog such as fashion, photography, recipes and so on that way when I get to college I can pursue blogging about those topics and try to blog about scrapbooking every once in a while! Or should I open a new blog?! I would redesign to fit the style and have handy links to each section. What do you think?
xoxo drew

  3. I would love to see different things from you Drew :) The trails and tribulations of a young fashion design student. Some of your other artistic endeavours! I live in Australia so seeing L.A though someone else's eyes would also be awesome! I think one of the most important things about Art.. any art.. even the Art of life.. is how we express ourselves.. and I love to listen. Go for it! and as always thank you for sharing :)

  4. Like others have said, I would share it all on here. We all enjoy visiting your site and following what you do. You already have the following so just continue to go with it right here. It would also be a good thing for anyone new that joins in due to your new ventures (school and fashion design) to have an opportunity to see what all you're involved in and what your interests are.

  6. I think that you should be blogging about what makes you happy. And the title is scrappy happiness, which can be about scrap booking off course. But it could also be the happiness that exist out of multiple things (which would be the scrappy things).
Perhaps I only make sense to myself but this is my logic to say. Go for it, do what you want to do and enjoy your college time worry free! Your college time is unique.

  7. Congratulation Drew on your new adventure in college life soon. I would love to see where your new ideas and growth in fashion design will take you. Of course sharing it with all of us in this blog will be exciting.

Also, when you make it big in the fashion world I can always say look I "knew" Drew back when he was making his cardmaking videos lol.

Have fun and lots of luck Drew!

  8. Congrats and Best Wishes as you venture off into college/fashion school. It will be an incredible journey like no other so savour every moment. And in savoring every moment, blog about what makes you happy. I've recently discovered you and your blog. Your scrappy style is one I enjoy to inspire from. I can only imagine how much more artistic inspiration I can draw from should you change up your blog a bit. Perhaps having different sections on your blog will help me navigate better? Though again this is your space; do what feels good for you and I look forward to reading more content. Cheers from Ontario, Canada :)

  12. Drew, as the others have said: "Do what makes you the happiest". I think that as a BUSY college student, you won't have time to attend to more than one blog so it would make more sense to combine everything here. We can all read the parts we're interested in and everyone will be happy. We'll all be part of "Drew's Excellent Adventure". Maria

  14. Do what is confortable for you!

-> I had many blogs and I'm not happy with it, because its chaotic. You have to do what you think it's the best ;).

  15. It makes more sense to keep it all in one place. No need to redesign, just do what comes naturally. Speak your mind, we will all listen, no matter what it is you're thinking. :)

  20. I think you should go for it Drew. It would be interesting to follow you on your adventure of getting ready and then going to college. I also think that 2 blogs will be overwhelming with all the changes you will go through. Make things easier on yourself and have everything in one place.

  26. Hello, I think it will be a great opportunity for someone with a talent as big as your learning and raise your level to another level, but combining the best with what you know to do crafting. I think you should ever take this blog and create a tab with the new modality and share all this knowledge with us. will be formidable. Hug Irene (Portugal)

  27. I just started following you...I love your ideas. When I scrapbook, a color scheme on a page can be inspired from something as simple as a color of a shirt print, or a layout could be inspired by a photograph or living room design. I think you should keep it all on the same blog, just adding tabs for categories sounds like a good plan...keep all of your viewers and followers on the same blog, you'll have your hands full with school work, you shouldn't have to worry about staying organized online as well.

  28. i would love to hear more about your everyday life and incorporating it into this blog would be just rad-no need to ask, everything you share with us is just inspiring and leaves us craving for more!

  30. I agree with everyone, it is your blog and it will be interesting to see your other interests also. I have never been to LA, I am a Texas girl. Since you can't take your scrapping stuff with you or at least not much of it, you could do some digital designing. I love to do paper, hybrid and digital. I am addicted to all of it.

  31. IMO, I find that a blog with too many directions get confusing. I don't have enough time to read everything about everybody, so I limit blogs that are specific to my interests. In the end, you have every right to do what you want with your blog. Some may stay and read, and others may go. But it is your interests that count. Thanks for asking, anyway.

  32. Drew, I think it would be great. It is so fun watching you grow up! Be sure you take the class that will teach you how to make downloadabe patterns. I would love to make a Drew Original and it could help make money for your books or fab fabrics!

  34. I also Agree with others 1 Blog will be enough to contend with and I can't wait to read and see all you will be doing. Inspiration comes in many forms and I'm sure a lot of your Ideas will also Translate over to the Papercraft world. Also who doesn't love Recipes and your Photo's will probably bring Inspiration too. I believe you have a God given Talent and can't wait to see how that works for you in your College Life. and one more thing , with your Blog you can also vent and I'm sure none of your Followers would Object. Keep just this Blog Drew and Good Luck for your Career Ahead. You must be very Excited. We will all be with you to Support you.
    Love and Best Wishes,
