DIY // Flower Crowns

Flower Crowns have to be one of my all time favorite accessories at the moment. They add that fun hipster vibe with a hint of freshness due to the flowers. This photo of my friend Zuhrah has to be one of my all time favorite photos I have shot. I just love the bare skin feeling. Does that even make sense? I can promise you she was wearing a strapless dress (lol). Anyway, I created a video last night (which was live) about how to create these crowns. We made a total of 3 flower crowns on the class and I highly suggest checking out the video. These crowns take 20 minutes at max and could be used as an accessory, flower girl crown or photo prop. I personally think anybody can pull off a flower crown.

  1. Very pretty Drew! I wonder if my daughter would wear one to her graduation! Oh probably wouldn't fit under that goofy hat they wear.

  3. These are so fairy or angel like and any little girl, or big girls too, would love them. So very pretty. Thank you for your sweet idea.

  4. Very nice photo, and I understand with the bare shoulder, it really softens the photo, yet makes your subject stand out. Beautiful crown and friend.

  5. OMG, These are sooo beautiful, easy, creative, & angelic!!! U & ur very photogenic friend, Zurah?, should do a photo-shoot in the woods &/or stream. Take those pics and design a mini with them. 1st: it would capture ur friendship BUT 2. showcasing the pics & ur creativity could lead to a greater, more fulfilling career for either of you! Just thinkin!........
