My First Internship

posted on: 8.10.2013

I am so lucky to have already gotten my first internship with seamless showroom. My good freind Carly has a friend who also works in this showroom which is how my name was mentioned for this position. Carly contacted me and said they were looking for a FIDM student to intern and so I happily grabbed my laptop and sent an email to the showroom. I went in for an interview and actually got accepted for the position that day. I start next Thursday and I am so grateful to have gotten this opportunity.

School has been going great so far. I have managed to get perfect scores on almost every test & project I have taken so far besides a marketing quiz I got an eight out of ten on. The work is very time consuming but It's something that I love so I don't find it very challenging or boring.

Lastly, I went back to my home town on Wednesday night and managed to bring a majority of my scrapbooking supplies back to my apartment. I hope to have something up for you all within the next couple of days. I feel like I am finally settled and able to produce content which I am extremely happy about. I have had a few crafting withdrawals lately. Anyway, I love you all and I will be back soon, I promise!

  4. Congratulations! You will always have success in everything you do. There is a saying "No one with four aces in hand will want to deal the cards again". Meaning that life is for rebels... for the ones who want more in life than what others can see. You are a visionary and you will bring new things to this world.
