Donna Salazar Design Team Entries!!!

posted on: 3.16.2011

Hi All,

So alot of you probably know by know that Donna is hosting entries for her design team. So of course i had to try out. The projects you see below are the 5 projects i made for my entry. Please let me know what you think of the projects and photos. (click the photo to make larger :)

So this was my first entry. This was my basically 1st ever layout I've made. I made one but i didn't like it so this is my second layout. I think it turned out awesome though. I love all the layering and texture. Its also really grungy!!! I used some of Donna's script stamps. The paper line is from tim holtz Lost and Found!!!

This was my second entry to the right. I made a calendar using Tim Holtz's Calendar page from the lost and found paper collection. I ordered Donna's calendar page and it came in this morning but i had to submit my entry last night :( The pages each have pockets with pull out tags for a photo and special event little journal page. Once your done with the calendar you can then use it as a Mini and cover the calendar with photos!!

<----- This was my third entry. I made an alter box using a balsa box from Michael's. I added texture with Donna's script stamp and stained + painted it with tim holtz distress stains and acrylic paint. I added some book text and fun Prima flowers, embellishments and leaves to the top!!! I also used some prima lace to the closing!

I then made this journal as my fourth entry. I used a huge butterfly stamp from Donna Salazar and colored it with my copics. I then used gold leaf rub n buff to add some accents. The background was made with paint, book text, distress ink and stains, stamps and some more rub n buff. I think the color combination turned out really nice and i love the butterfly. Just a simple journal for taking notes or jotting down thoughts!!
My last entry was this card i made from scratch. The background was made using some Donna stamps, paint, ink, book text, lace, whitewashing and stains. I love the way it turned out. The Card looks really vintage and unique. I attempted to make a rolled flower in the bottom right. I then added an embossed title and Prima pearls!!

sidetracking, Drew did u get my email regarding the Together Album you made (that I won in the challenge)?

I received the "Winner" package from Prima but it wasn't the album that you made :( but a pack of white flowers and a Say It In Pearls blings... was there some miscommunication with Prima along the way?
