Daybooks are seriously one of my favorite items to play with. Essentially they are premade albums you can add you photos, journaling and some embellishment to create a statement piece that showcases all you memories for that particular month, event or whatever it is you would like to document. I myself have only created two albums but I can surely say that these albums are super fun and addicting. So I decided to make a series on the creation of one of these Daybooks. More videos will be created over the next couple days encasing all the techniques, layouts and "how to's" I have learned so far. Today's video simply showcases all the products, tools and supplies I will be using over the course of this series to complete my book. I would love for you to follow along and post links to your project in the comments section below.

I just came by your blog - and you're doing an amazing job! I just spent forever looking through a bunch of pages. So inspirational :)! Definitely adding you to my blogroll.
where did you get these? they're awesome! i'm actually working on something similar for a keepsake of my son's first year of life. but it's more like a mini project life. still, it's quite fun.
Great idea Drew !!! I have a few Amy Tangerine day books I have no idea what to do with. I can't wait to follow your series. TFS

I just found your blog yesterday and you are very creative! Will continue to follow.
ReplyDeleteAwesome idea, Drew! For me, I use my planner as my "daybook". I put photos, doodle, etc. on spare pages, since some days are extremely uneventful.
